In honor of
Ted Henry Parini, 86, of Butte, MT passed away peacefully on September 6, 2010
in Miles City while visiting his daughter. Ted was an avid rodeo fan and
supporter, especially fond of the event of barrel racing. In fact, he was
able to enjoy a day of watching barrel racing where his daughter and
granddaughter competed and was able to visit with many old friends just two
days before his death. His daughters became involved in rodeo at a very
young age which meant many miles on the road hauling to and from youth and
high school rodeos. It also meant always keeping a keen eye out for that
next potential top performing horse. Ted had an eye for a good horse, in
fact through his life he picked many winners out. In his retired years he
started raising some of his own Quarter horses so that his daughters would
always have up and coming barrel horse potentials. One such horse he raised
was Teddys Money who excelled in the barrel racing world before his untimely
death. His daughters will tell you that the biggest part of a phone
conversation with dad was how the horses were doing and coming along, those
conversations will be dearly missed but rodeo runs deep in their veins,
their corrals full of young prospects and now with an up and coming
granddaughter, Ted will have many more years to watch from above.
